Initial Contact / Preliminary Consultation

If you are remodeling an existing space or building a new home, we here at Cleveland Kitchen and Design welcome you to our exciting showroom. Upon your visit you will have an opportunity to see in person all of the cabinet lines and also meet our experienced staff. In regards to new construction, it is helpful to bring in your plans. If you are remodeling, we can make an appointment to visit your home. It is recommended but not necessary to make an appointment with our staff.

Design Process
Once a range of budget has been established, the next step in the process is to discuss whether a design fee makes sense for your project. The advantage to you in paying for a design fee is that not only are a set of plans generated but you are also hiring a design professional that will spend the time needed to educate you and give you all of the tools necessary for a successful design process. The details of the design fee will be discussed in the preliminary consultation phase. All  fees are applied towards the contract of the entire said space.

Installation, Attentive Coordination & Completion
Details regarding cabinet removal, installation, appliances, plumbing fixtures, flooring, countertops and electrical are all worked out with your designer ahead of time. We can provide all of these listed services; however, if you are confident in your own builder or contractor we can simply provide you with the cabinets, appliances, tops, etc. should you so desire.

We Don't Limit Ourselves
We have the experience to help you anywhere that calls for cabinetry. Such examples include Entertainment Centers, Bookcases, Wet Bars, Laundry Rooms, etc.

Scheduling
We Select one of our Lead Carpenters for your project based on availability. You project will not get a start date, but rather a schedule slot – we will start your project as soon as your Lead Carpenter has completed work for his previous clients. Final selections, if any, should be made before construction commences.

Project Commencement
Our crews and trade contractors are not only considered to be the best around, but you will also find them personable, and helpful. Respecting your property and minimizing disruption are constant guidelines, as is regular communication with you. When decisions are needed from you or unforseen conditions are encountered, these will be discussed with your Designer, so they may be addressed. If these situations affect your budget, you will receive a quote detailing the credit or cost.

3. You will be without water in your kitchen for a period of time in direct relation to the extent of work being done.

Communication and building a rapport with our clients is important to the success of a project. We at The Cleveland Tile & Cabinet Co. pride ourselves in listening to our client's wants and needs and then developing them into a plan that is not only functional but also esthetically pleasing to the client's personal taste. Our philosophy is not to sell, but to guide you through the entire process. The result of this process is a creation of a new living space that expresses your lifestyle.

Build an Idea File. Begin by gathering information and pictures about the styles and products you like. Use kitchen/bath, decorating, or remodeling magazines to find pictures of what you like (as well as what you don't like). These pictures can help you and your designer in creating the project you envision. You'll want to begin the selection process three to six months before you are ready to start the installation of your project. It is important to establish a budget early on so that your designer can help guide you towards products that will allow you to stay within it. Just like houses, custom cabinetry projects come in all shapes, sizes and prices, so it's important to know approximately how much you want to invest before you start.

Visit our showroom or give us a call to set up an appointment. FAQ's - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How Much Will It Cost To Remodel Our Kitchen?
Kitchens are like most anything else that you purchase in this world: the costs are entirely dependent on the price of the materials chosen and the complexity of the job. The industry rule of thumb is to consider 10-20% of the house's market value when estimating a kitchen remodeling. It is good to keep in mind that a remodeled kitchen is an investment that will increase the value of your home. We offer products at many different price levels to fit your budget.

How Long Will It Take To Remodel Our Kitchen or Bathroom?
Every job brings its own schedule. A small job will take less time to complete; larger or more complex jobs take more time. In some cases, the longest part of the process can be the selection stage where you decide which finishes, colors and style of cabinets you want. In addition to the cabinet choices, decisions on countertops, appliances, back splashes and flooring also need to be made. Once those decisions have been made, we order the cabinets and begin making arrangements. Cabinets typically take approximately 2-8 weeks to be delivered. When the cabinets arrive, we begin work in your home, coordinating the tasks of the installers, electricians and plumbers. We use our own in-house installers, so we are in control of the scheduling and completion of your project. Although at times there may be delays as the scheduling of one type of labor may depend on the completion of another, you can be sure we will be attentive through to the completion of your project. Your designer will work with you from the inception to the completion of your project.

What Brands Of Cabinets Do You Install?
We carry a wide range of custom and semi-custom cabinetry in a variety of styles and price levels. The brands we offer are Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry, Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry, Brookhaven by Wood-Mode, Signature Custom Cabinetry, Medallion and Silverline by Medallion. We have chosen these companies because they have a proven track record for quality and longevity.

What Happens To Our Old Cabinets, Sink And Fixtures When You Replace Them?
Upon your request and with your assistance/guidance, we will remove the items and install them elsewhere in your home or property. If you opt not to keep it and not to donate the material, we will dispose of them for you.

Can You Reface My Old Cabinets?

What Brands Of Appliances Do You Sell?
We are dealers of numerous appliance manufacturers, both built-in and free-standing, please refer to our products page for a list of these manufacturers and brands.

What Is A Design Fee And Why Should I Pay You For This Service?

Can I Keep The Design Plans?
Throughout the design process, you will be provided with various drawings of your kitchen, which include detailed floor plans. The plans will not be released to you until a contract has been signed. Once your project has been purchased, we release your floor plans to you.
